“Covet: Trophies in an Age of Artifice” at Art Ventures Gallery (Menlo Park, California)
Arianna Tamaddon’s first solo exhibition, “Covet: Trophies in an Age of Artifice,” premieres at Art Ventures Gallery in downtown Menlo Park (888 Santa Cruz Avenue, Menlo Park, California 94025). The show runs April 15th - May 31st. “Covet” explores the interactions between femininity, power, and sexuality through the intersections of opposing surfaces.

Local artist Arianna Tamaddon exhibits Covet – Trophies in an Age of Artifice at Art Ventures Gallery in Menlo Park through May 31. The exhibition investigates the politics of what is classified as female, and the ways those definitions translate into notions of what femininity looks like in the world.

The de Young Open, 2020 (San Francisco, California)
“Preservation” (2020) and “Bliss” (2019) were both featured in the 2020 de Young Open exhibition at the de Young Museum of San Francisco’s Golden Gate Park. The exhibition ran Oct 10, 2020 – Jan 3, 2021.

The Fistula Foundation, 2020
At least one million women in Africa and Asia suffer from untreated fistula. The Fistula Foundation currently provides life-changing and life-saving surgeries in 22 countries across Africa and Asia.
This year, I designed a graphic for The Fistula Foundation. The Fistula Foundation adapted the graphic into their annual donation holiday card (shown below), which was available for purchase to raise donations for the foundation.

Love in the Cut: East Cut’s Pop-Up Gallery, 2019 (San Francisco, California)
“Sweet Sweet Surrender” (2018) and “Sweet Like Honey” (2018) were both displayed in the 2019 “Love in the Cut” East Cut Valentine Pop-Up Gallery. The pop-up gallery was located at 302 Folsom Street, San Francisco in February of 2019.
